JVNW engineers its own line of Manway doors and lids in a variety of styles for industry specific needs. All manways are fabricated using stainless steel for sanitary and industrial specifications, ASME and non-ASME, and with the same craftsmanship as our tanks and mixers. Below you will find our standard sizing specifications, custom sizes also available.

Dome Outswing / Sideswing
20", 24", 30"
Top mount inspection manway accommodates right, left, and top hinge locations. Cool-to-touch (outdoors) high impact PVC grip knob. Hygienic dome lid and narrow cross arms allow complete wash-down, no puddles. 360 degree locations. Sideswing action for low ceiling clearance. Standard gaskets include Neoprene (black), Silicon (gray), or Viton (black).

Oval Inswing / Outswing
16 x 22"
Side mount door swings clear of work area. Pressure of liquid inside the tank provides a positive seal. Optional racking located below lover edge of door drains 90% of liquid and allows for complete door opening and inspection. Standard gaskets include Neoprene (black) or Silicon (gray).

Sanitary Pressure Outswing

Electropolished interior finish. Sanitary gasket design. Exposed for CIP cleaning. Top and side mount available in 316L stainless steel. USP class IV elastomers available. Standard gaskets include Neoprene, Silicon, Buna, Viton and EPD.

Econo-Pressure Outswing

Electropolished interior finish. 15 PSIG standard, higher pressure ratings available. Top and side mount available in 316L stainless steel. Standard gaskets include Neoprene, Silicon, Buna, Viton and EPD.

CS Rectangular Outswing
16 x 22"
Heavy-duty 7ga outswing door and wing nuts swing free and clear of opening. Stainless steel wing nut assembly for extra strength with brass-lined wing nuts to prevent galling. Double cross arm for strong seal.
Lower edge is molded to the slope of the tank for easy pomace removal and complete drainage on wine tanks.
Standard gaskets include full-face sanitary Neoprene (black) prevents gasket failure.

One-Arm Rectangular Outswing
Same heavy-duty construction as the 16 x 22" Rectangular Lid. Typically used for the JVNW Econo-tote.

Top mount spring-loaded lift action for one person operation. Sideswing lid for low clearance. Needle roller thrust bearings for smooth pivot. Oversized for complete access. Available in 304 and 316L stainless steel. Slotted formed silicone O-ring gasket.

Schlide Bottom Cone Gate-Style
30 x 30"
Air cylinder actuator sliding door operation. Cam actuator locks and seals in place, regulates size of opening to control speed of product removal. Pilot activated safety check valve on cylinder. Physical mechanical latch at full open position for safety. Tank empties in 15 minutes (or less) with door wide open. Two person operation.

TR Door Bottom Cone Outswing
18 x 22"
Pneumatic controlled outswing rectangular door. Heavy-duty sintered bronze hinges. Pilot operated check valve for safety. 2" TC sampling drain at collar's low point.
Formed 1/4" stainless steel plate with a flat Neoprene gasket, full-face.
